About

Yoe FFA was chartered in 1934.

Yoe FFA is part of the Area XII Association and the Brazos Valley District

FFA is not a "club." It is one of three integral components of an agricultural education program: classroom instruction, supervised agricultural experience and life skills.  Students between the ages of 12 and 21 who are enrolled in an agricultural education course are eligible for membership. Your local school system must offer agricultural instruction and have an active FFA chapter for you to join.

The FFA Organization is the leadership development program for students of agricultural science and technology programs.  FFA programs are intended to be applied activities related to the classroom and laboratory instructional programs.  Thus, membership guidelines should reflect this philosophy and support enrollment in agricultural science courses.

Article V of the Texas FFA Constitution outlines requirements for the kinds of FFA membership available in Texas.

Please contact your local agricultural science instructor to determine details and deadlines for membership in your local FFA chapter.
